Over 800 corporates and 70 global leaders came together from over 50 countries to discuss disruption in modern healthcare. Representing our start-up festival was our very own Jubin Shah, Xpomet’s conference head. The first day of the 16th BioAsia Convention got off to a cracking start, with an inauguration by Shri ESL Narasimhan, the Governor of Telangana, followed by a lavish dinner. The following day got down to business with various talks covering an array of topics that included whether India can match China in the “Bio Race”, their role in the Global Healthcare system, and whether they can seize the upside of disruption. It was concluded with a final day covering the importance of start ups and entrepreneurship, informal coffee sessions allowing different business minds to mingle and learn from each other. This was all capped by a valedictory ceremony with a keynote address by Kris Gopalakrishnan, Chairman of Axilor Ventures.

The global ecosystem of digital management, AI-assisted healthcare and large corporate interests go beyond any one country, giving us a key insight into what we can bring to the German market. Thank you BioAsia for such an enlightening conference! See you next year!

With the UK parliament riven with divisions between those wanting a hard Brexit, a soft Brexit and no Brexit at all, the only current certainty is that, should no deal be agreed by March 29th, the country will leave the European Union and revert to World
