Dr. Andreas Tecklenburg became member of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Medical School of Hannover (MHH) in 2004. Prior to his position at the MHH he worked as Executive Director at the Sana Clinics Corporation, a large private hospital operator. He was in charge of over 60 clinics with respect to medicine, processes, IT, structure and technology. Dr. Tecklenburg gathered his first experiences as Executive Director in three clinics of the Ostholstein Clinic GmbH in 1996. He is trained specialist in Anaesthesiology. Since 2004, he has been a member of the executive board for the health care department of the Hannover Medical School, and at the same time vice president of the university. Since 2008, he has also been the director of the Institute for Applied Hospital Management (ISAK). He is a member of the board of the Association of University Directors and a member of the supervisory board of the University Hospital Ulm.
