Frerk Müller-von Aschwege

Dr.-Ing. Frerk Müller-von Aschwege has a PHD in Computer Science focusing on model based telemedical exercise supervision of patients suffering from cardio vascular deceases. He has more than 10 years of research experiences in telemedical supervision of patients in mobile or ambulatory settings. He researched in more than 10 national and European projects and took leading positions especially in the field of smart device based systems. Research interests are focusing on on/in-body sensing and acting as well as standard based interoperability within the healthcare sector. Since 2018 Frerk is managing the biomedical devices and systems group at OFFIS focusing on smart telemedical technologies such as early thrombosis detection in left ventricular assist devices or cleaning ECG-Signals from Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) artifacts for usage in Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
