About The Person
Alexander König is the founder and CEO of Reactive Robotics, a robotics start-up operating in the MedTech Sector. After obtaining his masters from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, in 2006 in controls and robotics, he pursued a PhD in Rehabilitation Engineering at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, from 2007-2011 in the field of robot assisted gait rehabilitation after stroke. While working on his PhD, he attended the University of Zurich’s Neuroscience Program. After graduation, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Harvard Medical School and the Director of the Health Division at OmniCompete, a London based crowd-sourcing start-up funding projects in medical technology, robotics, satellite navigation and synthetic biology.
