About The Person
Peeter Ross is a professor in eHealth and head of eMedLab in Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Estonia. He also holds radiologists position in East Tallinn Central Hospital and is a consultant in The World Bank. He is a founder of radiology and eHealth consulting company SMIS International. Dr. Ross has previously been a member of the supervisory board of the Estonian E-Health Foundation and Estonian Health Insurance Fund. Peeter is responsible for research and education of healthcare innovation and use of digital applications in health domain. He has participated actively in design and implementation of Estonian nation-wide Electronic Health Record. He is a consultant in the World Bank of national large scale eHealth projects and has been involved in several EU funded eHealth projects. Peeter is a member of Estonian and European Societies of Radiology.
